9ths, 11ths, 13ths? Maybe you haven't heard of this
kind of math, but if you want a modern sound, you've either got to be Einstein,
or master slash chords. This week we'll look at a simple way to transform
all the old fashioned 7th chords you may encounter into fantastic, modern
sounding 11th chords.
Here's the old fashioned way of
notating chords:
If you've read sheet music for any length of time,
you've seen chords like "G7" or "Bb7".
