Isn't that beautiful? It's real easy if you don't think to hard. If you try to create big chord extensions, and think "Well I can throw in the 9th, or the 11th or the 13th", you're going to get way too brainy. All you have to do is think of notes that don't belong moving to notes that belong.
Now you can get really weird with this - you can throw in notes that really don't belong (crazy dissonant note example) and they'll start throwing tomatoes at you if you do that.
Experiment a little bit with notes that don't belong in the chord, moving to notes that belong in the chord.
